Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ammerman Sr., Leesburg, Fla., formerly
of 409 Adam St., Tonawanda, will celebrate their golden
wedding anniversary here Saturday. A reception from 1 to
4 p.m. will take place in the home of their daughter and her
husband, Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Krueger, 3072 Krueger
Road, North Tonawanda. Mr. Ammerman was an employe
30 years of the duPont Yerkes plant, Town of Tonawanda,
retiring in 1955. He and his wife are members of the First
Free Methodist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Ammerman have two
children, Mrs. Krueger, and Cecil Ammerman Jr., North
Tonawanda. They also have six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

formerly of Wheeler Street, Tonawanda, were honored at a
dinner on their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 31, in the Pink
Panther Restaurant, Wheatfield. Mr. Ammerman and the
former Florence Bridge were married Aug. 31, 1915, in
Michigan. Mr. Ammerman has been retired from Dupont Co.
for 18 years. They have two children, Cecil Ammerman Jr. of
Tonawanda and Mrs.Henry (descent) Krueger of Wheatfield,
six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
