Boonville, July 31. - On- Monday
evening at the home of the officiating
clergyman, Rev. G. H. H. Davis, at
Port Leyden, took place the marriage
of Erwin Lyman Johnson of Port Deyden
and Miss Flora Dell Briggs of
Boonville. The bride is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Briggs of this
place, and the groom a son Of Mr. and
Mrs. Gilbert Johnson of Port Leyden.
They were attended by Mr. and Mrs.
Charles K. Backmeau of Port Leyden,
the latter being a sis'ter of the groom.
A reception was held at the home of
the groom's parents. They left on
Monday evening for a short wedding
trip
