White carnations and gladioli
decorated the altar of St. Teresa of
the Infant Jesus Church last Saturday
morning when Miss. Bridget
Mary Raftery, daughter of Mrs.
Margaret Rafiery, Athenry, Galway,
Ireland, and the late Thomas
Raftery, became the bride of Mr.
George J. Archbold, Jr., son of
Mr. George J. Archbold, College
Ave., and the late Mrs. Archbold.
The Rev. Eugene B. Regan officiated
at the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her uncle,
Mr. Patrick J. Raftery, Lynn, Mass.,
the bride wore a gown styled in
princess lines with a Peter Pan collar,
embroidered with seed pearls.
The bodice was One of imported
Chantilly lace and the waltz-length
satin skirt was overlaid with appliqued
nylon tulle. Her veil of
pure silk illusion was held in place
by a crown tiara of seed pearls.
She carried a colonial bouquet of
white roses.
Miss Mary L. Archbold, sister
of the bridegroom, was maid-ofhonor
and was attired in an ice blue
princess style organdy gown, bound
in satin. She wore a matching cap
of blue satin and carried a colonial
bouquet of pink roses.
Mr. John J. Archbold was his
brother's best man and seating the

Wolosin and William Archbold.
A breakfast for the immediate
family was held following the ceremony
in the social hall of St.
Teresa's school.
For moloring to California the

Her outfit was complemented with
a corsage of white roses.
