WILSON- - Mr. and Mrs.
Ezra L. Arkland were feted
at an open house here June
9 at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond J. Forsyth in honor
of the couple's Golden Wed-
ding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Arkland were
married March 18,1918 in Nazareth
Lutheran Church, Buffalo.
Mr. Arkland is retired
from N i a g a r a Cutter Inc.,
North Tonawanda. The couple,
who now reside in St, Petersburg,
Fla., resided in Buffalo
until 1965.
Mr. and Mrs. Arkland's children
were among the" guests.
They are: Lt, Col. Ezera H.
Arkland, U.S.M.C. and David
M. Arkland, Ovid, N.Y., the
c o u p l e ' s sons, and t h e i r
daughters, Mrs. Kenneth M.
Sherman, Buffalo, and Mrs.
Raymond J. Forsyth, Wilson.
Also attending were the couple's
four grandchildren; Lyn
Joy Sherman, Douglas Sherman,
Stuart Ezra Forsyth and
Sally Ann Arkland.
Guests from several states
and Ont., Canada also attended.
