A beautiful autumn wedding was
solemnized a t 9 o'clock S a t u r d a y
morning, September 14, at Nuptial
High Mass in the Sacred Heart
church, when Ilva Ethel, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gabrielli
of 2712 Tenth street, became the
bride of Mr. M. Angelo Augustino,
Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael
A. Augustino of 358 Twelfth street.
The Rev. Father Sheehy performed
the ceremony.
The bride, who was given in mar-
riage by her brother, Mr. William
Gabrielli, wore a gown of baby blue
taffeta with square neckline short
puffed sleeves and a very full skirt.
Her short veil and face veil fell
from a halo of forget-me-nots. She
wore long gloves of marching color.
The bride's bouquet was of white
pom pons and in the center forget-
me-nots, tied with white ribbon.
Miss Josephine Leo, the maid of
honor, wore a floor-length gown of
dusty pink taffeta with short puffed
sleeves and sweetheart neckline. The
skirt was very full and had shirred
inserts of the same material. She
wore a small doll hat matching her
gown and her bouquet was of pink
roses tied with pink ribbon. She
wore long mitts.
The bridesmaid. Miss Emily Better,
also wore a floorlength gown of
taffeta, rose color, with short puffed
sleeves and sweetheart neckline
and very full skirt. She wore a small
doll hat matching her gown and
long mitts. Her bouquet was of
deep pink roses tied with rose rib-
bon.
Mr. Fred Gabriel was the best
man and the usher was Mr. Joseph
Augustino, brother of the groom.
The bride's mother wore a rosecolored
dress with black accessories
and a corsage of roses and sweet
neas The mother of the bridegroom
wore a black sheer dress with
matching accessories and her corsage
was of roses and sweet peas.
The wedding breakfast and later
the dinner was held at the home
of the bride The brides table was
set for 24 and in the center a large
wedding cake set with miniature
bride and groom. Garden flowers
were on either side
A reception was held at a hall
from 4 to 11 which more than
200 relatives and other guests at-
tended. The bride received many
beautiful gifts.
The bride traveled in a black cos-
tume wool suit with matching ac-
cessories. Her corsage was red roses
and baby's breath. After a wedding
trip to Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Augus-
tino are making their home at 2712
Tenth street.
Miss Margaret Augustino held a
variety and personal shower for the
bride. She received many gifts.
