A quiet wedding took place at
the Salem Evangelical church
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock,
when Miss Pearl Awaldt became
the bride of Mr. Harry Gilcart,
Rev. Andrew Hils officiating.
The bride wore a gown of rose
chiffon velvet, black moire slippers
and carried a bouquet of yellow
tea roses and lilies of the valley
tied, with white tulle ribbon.
Miss Dorothy Felber, maid of
honor, wore a gown of blue crepe,
and black moire slippers, and carried
a bouquet of pink roses.
Ellicott Shearman of Buffalo
was the best man.
Mrs. Barton, the bride's mother
was gowned in black lace.
A wedding supper was held at
the home of the bride's sister, Mrs.
Otto Boehnke, covers being laid
for twenty at a table beautifully
decorated in a color scheme of
yellow and white.
Mr and Mrs. Gilcart left for a
motor trip through Canada.
