GOTTLIEB STRICKER
TO MARRY AGAIN
Gottlieb Stricker, former butcher, and
a well-known North end resident, has
his friends all guessing. Prominent
city officials have been invited by Mr.
Stricker to be guests at a quiet wedding
in his home at 1357 Linwood avenue
next Wednesday at which is is, ac-
cording to the version held by the of-
ficla s invited, to take unto himself an-
other help-mate. Relative of Mr.
Stricker when asked about the matter
this afternoon declined to give informa-
tion and it is said that only the family
and intimate friends of the groom-to-
be are in the secret of the bride's identi-
ty. City Clerk Thomas Hogan said
today, that he has not yet been asked
to issue a marriage license to Mr.
Stricker and thus is the mystery in-
creased. Mr. Stricker has been married
several times, each of his former wives
having died.
