The marriage of Miss Mildred Zim-
merman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Julius Zimmerman of Clarence Cen-
ter, to Mr. Herbert Bald, also of
Clarence Center, took place on Saturday
afternoon at two o'clock in St.
Stephen's church at Millersport, the
Rev. Carl Vogelman performing the
double ring ceremony. The bride,
who was given in marriage by her
father, was gowned In periwinkle blue
canton crepe and wore a hat to match.
She wore a corsage bouquet of sunburst
roses and lilies of the valley.
Miss Emma Kurkowski of this city
acted as maid of honor and wore a
gown of navy blue canton crepe
trimmed with gray, with hat to match.
Miss Kurkowski wore a corsage bou-
quet of violets and roses. Miss
Leona Bowler of Lockport was bridesmaid,
wearing a gown of brown taffeta
and brown hat. Miss Bowler
also wore violets and roses. Mr.
Emory Bald was his brother's best
man and Mr. Irving Zimmerman, brother
of the bride, acted as usher.
After the ceremony a dinner was
set veil a! the home of t h e bride, covers
being laid for twelve at the bridal
table, which was beautifully decorated
with cut flowers and centered with
a wedding cake. Mr and Mrs. Bald
will be at home after April 1 in 491
