Miss Evelyn Struebing of 14
Glenwood avenue, entertained at
a variety shower Wednesday, November
2nd, in honor of Miss Albetta
Peters, whose marriage to
Fred Balling takes place November
17. Many interesting games
were played, and prises were
awarded to Miss Elsie Leber, Mrs.
Chester Peters, Miss Lucinda
Leber, Miss Vera Strassburg, Mrs.
Joe Mayer, Miss Amelia Strassburg
and Miss Lydia Kline, all ol
whom presented them to Miss
Peters. The house was artistically
docorated in pink and yellow,
and luncheon was served at
a table centered with a bouquet of
cosmos and chrysanthemums, covers
being laid for sixteen. The
bride elect's place was marked
aith a large wedding cake, and
-osa favors and cards marked the
places of the guests. Miss Peters
was the recipient of many beautiful
presents.
