The marriage of Miss Beatrice M.
Schuman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Emil Schuman of Wilson, to Thomas
Brawn, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Brawn of Newfane, took
place at 4.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon,
November 25th, in the Methodist
Episcopal Church in North
Ridge, the Rev. J. T. Haugh officiating.
The church was decorated
with yellow and white chrysanthemums.
The bride, who was given In marriage
by her uncle, Edward L.
Drewes of this city, was gowned in
burgundy chiffon velvet, a white
turban and a bouquet of yellow
chrysanthemums. Miss Margaret
Kurkhampt, maid of honor, wore
green velvet with a white turban
and bronze chrysanthemums. Mrs.
Adeline Robinson, bridesmaid, wore
blue chiffon velvet with a silver
turban and carried rust colored
chrysan themums.
Arnold Drewes was best man, and
the ushers were Milford Robinson
and Benjamin Grawe.
A reception for 50 guests followed
at the home of the bride. Mrs.
Schuman was attired in brown velvet
and the bridegrooms mother
wore black satin. Both wore corsages
of talisman roses. The bride's
table, with covers for twelve, was
centered with a wedding cake surrounded
by yellow and white chrysanthemums
and yellow tapers.
After a trip South, Mr. and Mrs.
Brawn will make their home in
Wilson
