Mr. and Mrs. Hugo
Hartwig, 2219 Pierce Ave.,
who are marking their 50th
wedding anniversary today,
will be honored at a family
dinner tonight at the Skylon
Tower, Niagara Falls, Ont.
Mr. Harlwig and the former
Miss Esta Kieber were married
June'9, 1920'in Trinity
Lutheran Church, with the
Rev. Paul T. Gutknecht officiating.
Mr. Hartwig retired in 1963
from the Hartwig Oil Service.
The couple, along with Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Rickert and
Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph
Schultz, were honored Sunday
at a service and reception at
St. Paul Calvary Lutheran
Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Harlwig have
a son, George Hartwig, and
a daughter, Mrs. William
(Shirley) Koch, who reside in
this city. They also have five
g r a n d c h i l d r e n . A son,
Richard, died in childhood.
