The bouquet of white roses which
Miss Mary Elizabeth Ruggiero carried,
as she entered St. Joseph's
church for her marriage to Mr. Daniel
Bax, last Monday morning, was
placed at the base of the statue of
the Blessed Virgin Mary. On leaving
tne church the bride carried a
mother of pearl prayer book with
streamers and llly-of-the-valley
flowers.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Felix ttugglero. 1207 Fifteenth
street, and the bridegroom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Romeo
Bax, 2311 Twenty-fourth street.
A Solemn Nuptial High Mass was
celebrated after the exchange of
rings ceremony. The Rt. Rev. Msgr.
Paschal J. Tronolone was celebrant
at the Mass, and the Rev. David
Herllhy, deacon, and the Rev. Gerald
Kruerer, sub-deacon.
The church was decorated with an
all-white theme. White gladioli In
tall beauty baskets were placed In
the sanctuary. White bows marked
all the places In the center aisle of
the church.
The music was under the direction
of Miss Theresa DiOeimlllo.
soloist, and Miss Marie DiCamlllo
at the organ.
Fashioned on princess lines, the
bride's gown was of white slipper
satin. The Illusion neckline had
applique of seed pearls and rhinestone.
The full skirt which fell Into
soft folds extended in a long train.
Her veil was of delicate Illusion.
She was given In marriage by her
father.
The bridal group Included Miss
Anna Presuttl, maid of honor: the
Misses Rose Ruggiero, Rose Ussla,
Anna Foil, bridesmaids, and Carol
Presuttl and Linda Bax, flower
girls.
Mr. Sam Bax was the best man.
Messrs. Walter Wysockl, Joseph Bax
and John Bonaro. ushered. The
ringbearers were Michael Carosella
and Steve GalL,
Breakfast was served at the home
of the bride's parents. A dinner and
reception were held later at the
Prospect house.
For traveling to Sun Valley dude
ranch In the Adirondacks, the bride
wore a green-gabardine suit with
black, accessories and orchid corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Bax will reside at
1207 Fifteenth street.
