More than 100 friends and relatives attended the
Open House reception, Sunday afternoon at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Clare Ramming of West Avenue, Gasport,
in honor of Mr. Ramming's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
William Coulson of Main Street, Gasport, when the couple
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Refreshments were served from
e white linen-covered table, centered
by a four-tiered white wedding
cake, topped with a miniature
bride and groom standing in
front of a gold cup. Yellow pompons
flanked either side of the
c a k e . Christmas decorations
throughout the house completed
the decorations. Miss Delores
Clare served the cake. Miss Bonnie
Beakman served at the punch
bowl and Mrs. Ramming at the
urn.
A turkey dinner later was
served to members of the Immediate
family.
Out-of-town guests were from
Ransomvllle, Lockport, Middleport
and Medina.
Mr. and Mrs. Coulson were married
Dec. 21, 1905 In Middleport.
Mrs. Coulson Is the former Mary
Bartz.
Mr. Coulson, now retired,
was a fanner for many years
on the Root Road. He also
worked at the Friend Manufacturing
Co. and before retiring
last year, worked on the
caaal lift bridge.
The couple have two daughters,
Mrs. Gordon Ramming, Gasport,
and Mrs. Harold Beakman, Rapids;
six grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren
