Utica-The marriage of Miss Saundra Behm
and Pfc. Lyle Shaver Jr. was solemnized Saturday
(Oct. 5, 1963) at the Church of the Redeemer. The
service was performed by Rev. B. Miller.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Behm,
1651 Holland Ave., and the
bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Lyle Shaver Sr. of
Orange, Calif,, formerly of
Lewiston.
The bride approached the
altar on the arm of her
father. She wore a white
brocaded sheath dress. A
satin pillbox secured her
shoulder - length veil. She
carried a cascade of white
roses and carnations.
Miss Lynn Timpson, maid
of honor, wore a royal blue
suit. Her flowers were white
carnations and yellow roses.
Eugene Perry, uncle of the
bride, was best man, and
Dominick Gieb ushered.
A reception was held at
the home of the bride's par-
ents, where the bride will
reside while Pfc. Shaver
completes his tour with the
U. S. Army. He is stationed
at Ft. Dix, N.J.

UTICA-Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Behm,
Holland Avenue, are announcing the engagement
of their daughter, Miss Sandra
Behm, to Pfc. Lyle L. Shaver, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Lyle C. Shaver, Orange, Calif.
Both families are former Niagara Falls
residents.
Miss Behm is a graduate of Niagara
Falls High School and the Adult Education
Nursing Course of Trott Vocational High
School, Niagara Falls. She is employed at
Faxton Hospital, Utica.
Pfc. Shaver is a graduate of Lewiston-
Porter High School. He is with the U.S.
Army at Ft. Dix, N.J.
