Arthur Behm of 126 Lock St. announces
that the marriage of his
daughter. Pyllis Irene, to Edwin P.
Lute, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Lute of the Million Dollar Highway,
will be solemnized at 11 o'clock Saturday
morning, April 9, at St. Peter's
Church.
A reception will be held from 3
until 6 o'clock at the bride's home.

Large vases of snapdragons and
Easter lilies decorated the altar
of St. Peter's Evangelical Church
for the marriage at 11 o'clock Sat-
urday morning of Miss Phyllis I
Behm, daughter of Arthur Behm of
126 Lock St., and Edwin F. Lute,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lute of
the Million Dollar Highway. The
Rev. Herbert L. Siegner officiated.
Olven In marriage by her father.
Miss Behm wore a royal blue gabardine
suit with grey accessories.
Her corsage was of whlte roses.
SISTER ATTENDANT
Miss Mary Margaret Behm was
maid of honor for her sister, wearing
a frostpolnt brown suit and
formed her corsage.
Raymond Conner attended the
bridegroom as best man. Ushers
were brothers of the bridal couple,
John Behm and Milton Lute.
The bridegroom's mother chose a
blue print dress and a corsage of
pink and white roses.
After the ceremony a dinner for
12 was served at the Hotel Lox-
Plaza, where Spring flowers formed
appropriate settings for the tables.
A reception for 100 guests followed
at the bride's home with Miss Mary'
Long, Miss Audry Kemp and Mrs
Garthy Long assisting.
Upop their return from a wedding
trip to Pennsylvania and the Southern
states Mr. and Mrs. Lute will
make their home at 126 Lock St.
PRENUPTIAL EVENTS
Before her marriage the bride
was entertained at a bedroom shower
given by her sister; a variety
shower given by aiiss Helen Lute
and Mrs. Milton Lute; a couples
shower given by Mrs. Robert Lute:
and a linen shower given by Mrs
Charles Behm. At a kitchen shower
given by Miss Kemp and Mrs.
Ralph Kemp, she was given a
bride's book
The bride is a graduate of Lockport
High School Her husband
served for two years in the U. S.
Navy.
