An early spring wedding was
solemnized at the St. Matthew's
Lutheran church at 3.30 Thursday
afteroon. March 14th, with Rev.
?? Frankenstein officiating,
when Miss Mildred A. Behner. only
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August
Behner of 12 Park avenue, be-
came the bride of Mr. Norman A.
Goerss of North Tonawanda. The
bride was lovely in a gown of
crepe satin having the pop-
ular uneven hemline, and she car-
ried an exquisite shower bouquet
??arney roses, sweet peas, and
baby's breath. She was attended
by her cousin, Mrs. Charles Gree-
wood of Rochester. N. Y., who was
in peach georgette, and
who carried an arm bouquet of
?? roses tied with peach
ribbon. Mr. Arnold Stoeling
Niagara Falls, a cousin of the
groom acted as best man.
Following the ceremony, a wed-
ding reception was held at the
home of the bride's parents, four
teen members of the bride's family
were represented, among whom
was her grandmother, Mrs. Williarn
Volkstadt. Covers were laid
for twelve at the bride's table over
which was suspended a large white
wedding bell. The home was at-
tracively decorated in pink and
white throughout. Out of town
guests were present from Roches-
ter, Springville. and Niagara Falls.
After April 1st, Mr.- and Mrs.
Goerss will be at home at 187
?? street.
