Mr. and Mrs. Boyd R.
Wilson of 3598 Beebe Road,
Newfane, announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Helen Jean, to Durwood
H. Bendt, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Howard Bendt of 4423
Willow Road, Wilson.
The bride - elect, a graduate
of Wilson Central
School and the University of
Plattsburgh, is employed as
a personal administrator of
social service in Albany.
Mr. Bendt, also a graduate
of Wilson Central School
served two years with the
U.S. Army and is presently
employed as a packaging
engineer at Continental Can
Co., Inc., North Tonawanda.
The wedding will be solemnized
November 29, 1968.

Saturday, November 29,
1968, at St. Peter's Lutheran
Church in Cambria.
Mrs. Norma Seabert was
organist.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd R.
Wilson of 3598 Bebe Road,
Wilson. The bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Howard Bendt of 4423 Willow
Road, Wilson.
Mr. Wilson gave his
daughter in marriage. She
wore a floor - length A-line
gown of hand crochet over
taffeta. A double bow with
streamers formed her headpiece
and she carried white
Fuji mums and her grandmother's
handkerchief.
Mrs. Arlene Karsten, sister
of the bride, was honor
attendant. She wore a hunter's
green velvet floorlength
A-line gown.
Roger P. Wilson, brother
of, the bride, was best man.
Ushers were Merritt H.
Thllk and Edwin Zastrow.
A reception immediately
following the ceremony was
held at the South Wilson
Fire Hall.
The couple are making
their home at 4745 Chestnut
Road, East Wilson.
