"Hear the merry wedding bells; what a
world of happiness their melody foretells."
And the bells which chimed the nuptials
of two well known and highly esteemed
young people last Wednesday were no
exception to those of which the poet sung.
It was at Salem church on Morgan street
that this happy event occurred, Rev. J. G.
Wltllnger performing the impressive ceremony
that united Mr. Charles Zuckmaier
and Miss Elizabeth Bluckhorn in the
silken fetters of matrimony. The wedding
was quiet, but pretty and pleasant. Miss
Ida Hickle was bridesmaid, and Mr
Albert Hubman acted in the capacity of
best man.
The happy young couple are at present
residing with the groom's parents on Morgan
street, but will enjoy the felicity of
their own domestic establishment in
about one month. Mr. Zuckmaier has
erected a beautiful residence on Morgan
street, where he will take his bonny bride.
"May time tread light, and never blight"
the happiness of Mr. and Mrs. Zuckmaier.
