MIDDLEPORT-The marriage of Miss Shirly Ann
Bereari, daughter, of Mrs. Gordon Berean, Maple
Avenue, and the lateJMr. Berean, and Richard Francis
Nicholas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Nicholas, Newfane,
was solemnized at St. Bridget's Church, Newfane,
by Rev. William J. Sutherland.
The bride was given in.
marriage by her brother,
Belmont Berean, She wore
a gown of candlelight peau
de soie with accents of
Chantilly,'lace. Cascades of
lace in back extended to a
court train. She carried'
white chrysanthemums and
yellow sweetheart roses.

MRS. JAMES Croh, Newfane,
was matron of honor
and bridesmaids were the
Misses Suzanne Nicholas,
of Newfane, and Ann Williams,
of Lockport.
The attendants were
gowned in princess-style
dresses of Burgundy-colored
velvet, and c a r r i ed
shaded chrysanthemums of
pale pink and purple centered
with sweetheart roses.
Robert Kerwin, Newfane,
was best man and ushers
were William Neven, Newfane,
and John Oliver, Middleport.
MORE THAN 200 guest
attended a weddiog reception
at the Niagara-Orleans
Country Club. Mrs. Berean
received in an ensemble of
amethyst b r o c a d e with
beige accessories and a corsage
of pink carnations.
Mrs. Nicholas was attired
in a sheath dress of green
brocade with matching accessories
and yellow carnation
corsage.

WHEN THEY RETURN
from a wedding trip to Florida,
the new Mr. and Mrs.
Nicholas will be at home
in Maple Avenue, Middleport.
The bride is a graduate
of Royalton-Hartland Central
School and the bridegroom
of Newfane Central
School. He 'attended the
University of Buffalo
school of engineering.
