More than 100 guests attended
the twenty-fifth wedding celebra-
tion of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Lago,
622 Sixteenth street, Sunday, at an
open house party from 5 to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Lago. receiving the guests
with her husband, wore a charming
toast lace gown and corsage of
yellow roses with white gardenias.
A buffet lunch was served from
an attractive table centered with an
anniversary cake, flanked by silver
candelabra holding white tapers.
Fall flowers were also used to decorate
tho table.
Mrs. Charles Guagenti assisted at
the coffee table and Miss Norma
Bevacqua assisted at the punch
bowl.
Assisting the hostess during the
party were her mother. Mrs. Peter
Bevacqua, and Mrs. James Riggi,
Mrs. Nicholas Simone, and Mrs.
Paul Bevacqua.
Among the guests was Mrs. Al-
bert Bettino, who was maid of
honor at the Lago wedding 25 years
ago at St. Joseph's church.
The couple received many gifts
of silver.
