Bright red peonies and white
snowballs were arranged attractively
in Grace Episcopal Church for
the marriage of Patricia Ruth
Goltz, daughter of Mrs. Fred C.
Goltz of Route 2, Lockport, and
Flight Officer Robert A. Blundy.
RCAF, son of Ernest Blundy of
Waycross, Ga.
The Rev. Henry F. Zwicker. DD,
performed the ceremony and the
bride was given In marriage by her
brother. Robert R. Goltz. Miss
Shirley M. Glena was maid of
honor and bridesmaids were Mrs
Betty Stephenson, sister of the
bride. Miss Jane Garlock, Miss
June Brown of North Tonawanda,
cousin of the bride and Miss
Doreen Houghton. Barbara Stephenson
and Dianne Goltz, nieces
of the bride, were flower girls.
Groom's Attendants
Best man was F/L Robert Corbett,
RCAF, stationed at Pendleton,
Ont., and ushers were Duane
Townsend and Robert Goltz of
Tonawanda, Albert Fiedler'of Cambria
and Wilfred Garlock of Lockport.
The wedding music was
played by Scott Ford, organist and
Arnold Ferris sang 'O Promise
Me."
The bride wore a gown of marquisette
over satin fashioned with
scalloped neckline, high necked
yoke and long sleeves coming to
points over the hands. The lacetrimmed
skirt extended to a long
train. Her fingertip veil fell from a
beaded Juliet cap and she carried
white roses and carnations.
The maid of honor's gown was of
aqua with satin bodice and net
skirt, fashioned with sweetheart
neckline and three-quarter length
sleeves. She carried yellow roses
and snapdragons tied with aqua
ribbon. The bridesmaids' dre-es
were of taffeta and net, Mrs. Stephenson
and Miss Garlock wearing
blue and Miss Brown and Miss
Houghton, pink. Their flowers were
mixed bouquets of rosebuds and
carnations tied with ribbons to
match their gowns.
Reception Follows
The bride's mother wore a sheer
black gown trimmed with white
lace with white accessories and a
black picture hat trimmed with
wWte.
A reception to 150 guests was
held at the Park Hotel, where a
buffet luncheon was served. Flight
Officer and Mrs. Blundy left for a
wedding trip to Waycross, the bride
wearing an aqua linen dress with
white accessories and pink rosebud
corsage.
Out-of-town guests Included a
number from Canada. Niagara
Falls, Buffalo, the Tonawandas and
Olcott.
