Irene A. Bills, daughter of Mr and
Mrs. W. S. Bills of 3 1/2 Button Street,
became the bride of Francis E. Burns
of 24 Logan Street, at 9 o'clock this
morning at the Holy Family Church
Rev. John A. Conway performed the
ceremony.
They had as their attendants
Lydla Bills, sister of the bride, and
Joseph A. Burns, brother of the
groom.
The. bride wore a flesh colored
chiffon dress and carried butterfly
roses. The bridesmaid wore an orchid
georgette dress and carried pink
roses.
After a two weeks' trip to Montreal,
Mr. and Mrs. Burns will make
their home at 7 South Street. Mr
Burns is a salesman at Chevrolet
Sales and Service Company and Mrs.
Burns is a telephone operator.
Tjhere have been many prenuptial
showers. Among those who entertained
are Mrs. John White, Mrs
Earl Meehan, Mrs. Paul Laper, Mrs.
William Lawler, Mrs. H. McNanee,
Mrs. L. Barry, Mrs. J. A. Burns and
Miss Agnes Bolger.
