A pretty wedding took place at
Holy Family rectory on Thursday
morning at 10 o'clock when
Lydla Agnes Bills, daughter of
Mrs. Sarah Bills of 382 Owasco
Road became the bride of Edwin
Lloyd Hungerford, son of Mrs.
Frances Hungerford of 131 North
Fulton Street. Toe bride was attended
by Mrs. Paul F. Laper, Jr.,
and Walter J. Hungerford was
his brother's best man.
The bride wore a gown of coronation
blue velvet with matching
accessories and carried Talisman
roses. Mrs. Laper wore American
beauty velvet and accessories
and carried Briarclift
roses. After a wedding breakfast
at Cottles Tea Room for the immediate
families, Mr. and Mrs.
Hungerford left on a motor trip
to Washington, D. C, and other
points of interest.
The bride was entertained at
many pre-nuptial affairs. Among
those entertaining were:
Miss Agnes Bolger, Mrs. Paul
Laper, Jr., Mrs. Earl J. Meehan,
Mrs. Walter Gerard, Miss Mildred
Waters, Mrs. Warren Johnson,
Mrs. Laura Banks, Mrs. Kenneth
Hungerford, Mrs. Donald
Smith and the members of her
club.
