The marriage of Miss Ruth Wusnick,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl
Wusnick of Chili, N. Y., and Leon
E. Bixler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott
Bixler, Hess road, town of Newfane,
took place on Saturday, April 15, in
St. John's Lutheran church, Rochester,
with the pastor, the Rev. Paul
Schnieder performing the ceremony.
The bride was becomingly gowned
in georgette with tan hat
and tan accessories to correspond
and wore a corsage bouquet of
peonies, pink rose buds and bluebells,
with fern and tulle.
The attendants were Mr. and
Mrs. Lewis Bixler of Rochester. The
matron of honor, the bride's sisterin-
law, also wore an attractive gown
and flowers similar to those of the
bride.
Following the ceremony they motored
to Hess road to the home of
the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Scott Bixler, where a reception was
held for members of the immediate
family.
The bride's table was beautifully
decorated with spring flowers and
centered with a white bride's cake.
