Mrs. Edward Baes of 32 Webb
street announces the engagement of
her daughter. Mildred Capell, to
Carlisle Blackley, son of Alvin
Blackley of 189 West avenue.
The wedding will take place in the
near future.

A gown of white lace with matching
accessories and shower bouquet
of bride's roses were chosen by Miss
Mildred A. Capell, daughter of Mrs.
Leah Baes of 33 Webb street, for
her marriage to Carlisle B, Blackley,
son of Alvin Blackley of 189
West avenue, which was solemnized
Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at
the First Baptist church house. The
Rev. Harry H. Bergen performed
the ceremony.
The bridesmaid. Mrs. Margaret
Evans, wore a gown of orchid lace
with accessories to match and carried
yellow roses and orchid iris.
Mrs. Baes wore orchid chiffon. Decorations
were of snapdragons, ferns
and pates. Donald Evans acted ae
best man.
Following the ceremony a reception
for 30 was held at Tenbrook's
restaurant, the bride's table being
of T-shape centered with a large
wedding cake and decorated with
white roses. The gift of the groom
to hie bride was a string of pearls
and to hie beet man a buckle set.
The bride gave to bar maid a yellow
gold compact. Everett Capell, brother
of the bride, waa among the
guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Blackley left for
a wedding trip to Washington, Mrs
Blackley wealing a blue suit, with
hat, shoes and glove, of gray. After
their return they will make their
home at 33 Harvey avenue.
