Mr. and Mrs. William Bluhm of
Webb street announce the engagement
of their daughter, Alice Marie,
to Waldemar Hacker of North Tonawanda,
the marriage to take place in
April.

The marriage of Alice Marie, daughter
of Mr and Mrs. William Bluhm
of Lockport to Waldemar Hacker of
North Tonawanda, was quietly solem-
ized at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon
at Trinity Lutheran parsonage in
Lockport, the Rev. Herman Meier, of-
ficiating.
The bride wore a gown of tan flat
crepe with hat to match and a corsage
of bride roses and pink sweet
peas. Attendants were Miss Louise
BIuhm, sister of the bride, and Alvin
Harder of North Tonawanda. The
bridesmaid wore pink flat crepe with
hat to match and a corsage of pink
roses and sweet peas.
Following the ceremony a reception
was held at the home of the bride
covers were laid, for twelve at the
bride's table which was decorated in
pink and white
Mr. and Mrs. Hacker will be at home
at 187 East Felton street, North Ton-
awanda.
