An attractive wedding was solemnized
Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock
in St. Peter's Evangelical church,
when the Rev. Herbert L. Siegner,
pastor, united in marriage Miss
Freda C. Boetcher, daughter of Mrs.
Augusta Boetcher of 49 Spalding
street, and Edward Zoss Israel, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Israel of
Newfane.
The bride wore a drer, of Winter
white botany wool trimmed with
white angora yarn and orchid ac-
cessorles. She wore a shoulder cor-
sage of orchids.
Miss Olive Boetcher, sister of the
bride who attended her, also wore
Winter white botany wool trimmed
With white angora. Her accessories
were green and she wore a shoulder
corsage of gloria roses. Arthur Israel,
brother of the groom, was best man
and ushers were Ronald Gilford of
Ridgewood and Edward Lewis of
Lockport.
Mrs. Boetcher wore a dress of
bla"k crepe trimmed with white lace
and Mrs. Israel wore green crepe
with brown accessories. Mrs. Charles
Zoss. grandmother of the groom,
wore black crepe. All three wore
gardenia corsages.
Mrs. Gladys Stahler played the
wedding music and Maurice Sullivan
sang "Because."
Gift flowers decorated the bride's
home, where a reception was held
to 60 guests following the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Israel will make their
home at 49 Spalding street.
