At the wedding solemnized in Good Shepherd Church,
Pendleton, Saturday, Miss Dolores Tegland, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank J. Tegland, RD No. 3 lockport, and George Borner,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Borner, East Canal Road, Pendleton,
were united in marriage by the Rev. Anthony Nichter. The
church was decorated with white chrysanthemums and white
pompons.
The bride chose a white satin
gown with long train, Queen Anne
collar, finger-tip veil edged with
lace und caught to a pearl beaded
crown. Her cascade bouquet
was made of white roses and white
pompons.
The maid of honor was Miss
Frances Tegland, and she was
dressed in blue satin with illusion
neckline. The bridesmaids
were: Mrs. W. Stowell, and the
Misses Evelyn Tegland, Carol and
Marie Borner. They wore Nile
green, shrimp and gold, and car-
ried Colonal bouquets.
Albert J. Borner was best man,.,,
and the usher* were James Amza-
lene, of Buffalo and Steven Teg-
land. The bride's mother chose light
blue taffeta and lace with a scal-
loped neckline, and the groom's
mother wore teal blue lace
A reception for 150 followed the
ceremony at which time, Tom
Hanley's orchestra played. The
bridal table, set for 12, was deco-
rated with a pink and white cen-
terpiece.
The bride wore a hunter green
suit wth black accessories for
their three-day motor trip, after
which they will live in Kenmore.
The groom was in the U. S. Navy
as Seeaman 1st Class in World
War II. He served in the Pa-
cific aboard the USS Mount Kat-
mal.
