The marriage of Miss Jeanne Marie Bowman, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Bowman, B St., and Thomas
Joseph Skrzypek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Skrzypek,
Rhode Island Ave. was solemnized this morning (Oct. 13,
1956) at 10 o'clock in St. George's Church. The Rev. Joseph
Augunus performed the double-ring ceremony.
" Given in marriage by her
father, the bride carried a prayer
book adorned with a white or-
chid. Her b r i d a l gown was
French Chantilly lace. fashioned
with* an illusion neckline of
net, offset with a mandarin collar.
A- queen's pointed crown.
covered with mother of pearl
tear drops, held her fingertip
veil.
Miss Rose Marie DeMarco.
maid of honor, was attired in a
shrimp gown of nylon chiffon
over taffeta. The Misses Christine
Boston. Rebecca Stevens,
and Nannette Tyrrell, bridal at-
tendants wore similar gowns in
lavender. romance blue and pink.
Priscilla Newson was flower girl.
Francis Skrzypek. brother of
the bridegroom was best man.
Ushers were James Bowman,
brother of the bride, and Donald
Skrzypek and Robert Skrzypek,
brothers of the bridegroom.
Wayne Jaruzawicus, was ring
bearer.
A breakfast was served in St.
G e o r g e s Church Hall, where a
reception will be held tonight.
The mother of the bride will
receive in a blue lace over taffeta
cocktail dros. while the
mother of the bridegroom has
chosen a lavender rose lace over
taffeta cocktail dress.
For a honeymoon to New
York City the bride will wear a
charcoal gray wool sheath dress.
The couple will reside a: the
Navy Base in Patunent River,
Md.. while the bridegroom concludes,
his duties in the U. S.
Navy.
