Mr. and Mrs. Harold H.
Brauer were honored guests
at a reception Saturday
afternoon at the Sheraton
M o t o r Inn as they
c e 1 e b r a ted their 50th
wedding anniversary.
The couple, who have
resided at 5881 W. Jackson
St., Lockport, for 20 years
were married Oct. 7, 1922
by the late Rev. Zwicker.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Brauer and Mrs. John Latt
were hosts for the anniversary
reception featuring
a four - tiered edding
cake.
Mrs. Brauer is the
daughter of John Yerks and
Sarah Clark Yerks from
England. She was born in
1902 in the Town of Lockport.
Born 1899 in the Town of
Lockport, Mr. Brauer is the
son of August and .Minnie
Greenwald Brauer from
Germany.
Mr. Brauer is retired
from the Niagara County
Highway Department. The
couple belongs to St. Peters
E v a n g e l i c a l Lutheran
Church.
They have two children,
Mrs. Latt of Napa, Calif,
and Richard Brauer of
L o c k p o r t , nine grandchildren
and six great -
grandchildren.
