The marriage of Miss Edna. Briggs, daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Briggs of 57 Fletcher street, to Mr. Robert Schurr at Ransomville. was solemnized Wednesday afternoon at five o'clock in the Grace Lutheran Church on Oliver street. Rev J E Krumweide of Buffalo performed the ceremony in the presence of about seventy-five guests. The bride wore a gown of white crepe de chine. Her veil of embroidery was caught with pearls and she carried a shower bouquet of bride roses and white sweetpeas. The maid of honor, Miss Elizabeth Darroch, cousin of the bride, was gowned in pink georgette and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses and white asters tied with pink tulle. The bridesmaids were Miss Marie Rebasz and Miss Mrgaret Rebasz. Miss Rebasz wore a gown of green geargette and Miss Rebasz was gowned in blue georgette. Their bouquets were alike, being of pink and white asters. The flower firl, ittle Helen Haas, wore a frock of yelllow voile and carried a golf basket filled with white sweetpeas tied with a bow of white tulle. Master Clifford Schroeder of Olcott acted as ring bearer. Mr. Fred Schurr of Ransomville, brother of the groom, was the best man and the ushers were Mr. Raymond Vanbre of Buffalo and Mr Edward Forth of Beach Ridge. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the bride's home with covers for eleven at the bride's table which was centered with pink and white roses. Among the guests were Mrs. Christine Darroch and son, Ken Bath of Lockport, Mr. and Mrs. William Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. David Britten and son, Kenneth, Mr. and Mrs. George Cretsinger, Mrs. Susan Vanbre and Mrs. Julia Deitz of Buffalo. r. and Mrs. Fred Schroeder of Olcott, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schurr, Dr., and daughter Elsie, Mr. Fred Schurr, Jr. of Ransomville, Mr. Raymond Vendre of Buffalo, and Mr. Edward Forth of Beach Ridge.
MR. and Mrs. Schurr left on a motor trip and on their return will reside at Ransomville.
