 Mr. and Mrs. T. Edwin Mc-
 Knight of 174 Genesee St. announce
 that the marriage of their
 daughter, Audrey Ruth, to James
 J. Britt of Grand Island will be
 solemnized at 9 o'clock tomorrow
 morning in St. John the Baptist
 Church.
 A reception will be held from 2
 to 4 o'clock in the Washington
 Room of the Park Hotel.
 Friends and relatives are cor-
 dially invited to attend.

 White gladioli and palms
 adorped the altar of St. John
 the Baptist Church forming the
 background for the simple wedding
 service Saturday, uniting
 in marriage Miss Audrey R.
 McKnight, daughter of Mr. and
 Mrs. T. Edwin McKnight, and
 James J. Britt of Grand Island,
 son of John Britt, Middleport.
 The Rev. Francis A. Clancy, DD,
 pastor, performed the ceremony
 and Miss Sally Niland sang the
 Ave Maria.
 The bride wore a white marquisette
 gown over satin, designed
 with a tight bodice, the long sleeves
 accented with cuffs of Chantilly
 lace. Her full skirt was in tiers
 of matching lace. A lace cloche
 held the finger-tip veil of French
 illusion. She carried a cascade
 bouquet of gardenias and white
 roses.
 Mrs*. R. James Buchanan of Portsmouth,
 Va., her sister's matron
 of honor, was attired in a gown
 of w h i t e French embroidered
 organdy over green taffeta
 matching green cloche and a cu -
 cade bouquet of green carnations
 completed her costume.
 Mrs. Robert Wall in orchid and
 Miss Susan McDermott in yellow
 wore gowns similar to that of the
 matron of honor, with matching
 cloches and bouquets.
 Paul Joensen was best man and
 ushers were John Tracy and Robert
 Bensman of Grand Island.
 Mrs. McKnight, for her daughter's
 wedding, chose a violet
 shantung two-piece ensemble with
 matching hat and black accessories..
 She wore yellow roses. A purple
 velvet ensemble with matching
 velvet hat and accessories was
 chosen by Mrs. Patrick Healy,
 grandmother of the groom.
 Following the bieadkfast and reception
 in the Washington Room
 of the Park Hotel, the couple left
 for an eastern a motor trip. For
 traveling, the bride wore a check
 suit with black velvet accessories
 and a corsage of red roses. After
 Aug. 26, they will reside in Buffalo.
