During the ceremony Miss Gladys Sharpe
sang "Oh Promise Me." The ceremony
took place under a bower of lurel trim-
med with white belis and flowers, the
large white belll in the center being filled
with rose petals, which was opened at
the close of the ceremony by the drawing
of two ribbons and the rose petals were
showered upon the happy couple.
The bride was gowned in white messa-
line draped in embroidered net with
white satin roses and carried a shower
bouquet of white roses. The maid of
honor wore pink messaline and carried a
bouquet of pink and white sweet peas.
The bridesmaid wore pink crepe de chine
and carried pink and white sweet peas.
Following the ceremony a reception was
held and covers were laid for fifty guests
by caterer Mrs. Hopkins of Hornell.
The decortions designed by Miss Mary
Gall, consisting of roe and white lilies,
were beautiful and artistic.
Mr.. and Mrs.. Brutsman were spirited
away by A. J. Aronson in his auto to
Arkport,, where they took train 1 for
Buffalo, Detroit and Flint,, Mich., for a
few weeks' visit with relatives.
The presents were numerous and beau-
tiful, consisting of cut glass, hand painted
china, silver,, linen, furniture and money
to the amount of one hundred dollars,,
including a twenty dollar gold piece.
