Mr. an4 Mrs. Frank Brzozowski
of 11 Third Ave. announce the
marriage of their daughter, Helen
Marie, to Walter Slomba, son of
Joseph Slomba or Oliver St., on
April 22 in Our Lady of Czestochowa
Church. The Rev. Michael
Walek officiated before the altar
which was adorned with Spring
flowers and palms. Miss Dorothy
Budmk sang "Ave Maria."
The bride wore a gown of bridal
satin trimmed with Belgium lace
with fitted bodice and cathedral
length train and a fingertip veil
of illusion. She carried a bouquet
of white roses tied with white
satin streamers.
Miss Virginia Brzozowski, as
maid-of-honor for her sister, wore
a peacock blue satin gcwn and
carried a bouquet of yellow roses.
Another sister, Phyllis, was the
flpwer girl wearing a frock of
pink taffeta. She also carried a
bouquet of yellow roses.
Edward Slomba attended his
brother as best man. Joseph
Slomba, a nephew, was the ring
bearer.
The bride's mother chose a navy
blue crepe dress with white accessories
and wore a corsage of
red roses.
A wedding breakfas and reception
was held in Dom Polski Hall
with 300 guests attending. A tiered
wedding cake centered the
bride's table. Out-of-town guests
were from Ohio, Lockport, Niagara
Falls and Buffalo.
For her wedding trip to Washington,
D. C. and Ohio, the bride
wore a navy blue suit with white
accessories and an orchid corsage.
Mr. and Mrs, Slomba are at
home in 730 Oliver St.
Several showers were given for
the bride by relatives attendants.
