The garden at the residence of
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bulmore in Barre
was the scene of the wedding at 3
o'clock last Wednesday afternoon
of the marriage of Miss Ruth Grimm
to their son, Harold Bulmore of
Buffalo. Only a few relatives and
intimate friends witnessed the cere-
mony, which was performed by the
Rev. John R. Adams of Albion. Miss
Geraldine Adams played the wedding
music.
The bride, who is the only daugh-
ter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chris
Grimm of West Barre, was gowned
in white chiffon made with a high
neck and small, round collar. Her
headdress was a tiara of syringa
blossoms and she carried white gar-
den flowers tied with white ribbon.
Miss Gladys Bulmore. a sister of
the groom, was maid of honor. She
wore an old-fashioned gown of pink
net arid carried pink and blue garden
flowers There were two little flower
girls,, Doris Hadey of Buffalo and
Norma Pledimonte, Albion, cousins
of the groom, who wore yellow frocks
and carried baskets of yellow roses.
James Drought of West Barre was
the best man for the groom.
After the rites a wedding supper
was served. Mr. and Mrs. Bulmore
left on a motor trip to Akron, O.
They will make their home in
Buffalo. *
Prenuptial parties for the bride
included a linen shower given by
Mrs. Leonard Hales and the Misses
Esther and Gladys Bulmore at the
Hales home; a bedroom and bath-
room shower with the Misses Lon-
nen of Knowlesville as hostesses, and
a variety shower by Mrs. Earl Bul-
more and Mrs. Loren. Needham at
the residence of the former. The
groom was guest of honor at a
variety shower with the best man as
host.
