Waldron-Knize
Miss Dorothy Elizabeth Knize.
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James
Knize. 1860 Linwood avenue, was
united in marriage to Private First
Class Jennings I. Waldron, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Waldron, of
Hazleton, Pa., In the St. James
Methodist church by the Rev.
George Keeling. The church altar
was beautifully decorated with bouquets
of assorted gladioli.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride was charming in a white
taffetta bodice gown with chiffon
yoke and skirt and a fintertip veil
with seed pearl tiara. She carried
a bouquet of white gladioli.
Mrs. Frances M. Wilcox, matron
of honor and sister of the bride,
wore a floor-length dress of brocaded
satin bodice with a melon
chiffon skirt with matching headdress.
She carried a bouquet of
gladioli.
Miss Shirley H. Knize, bridesmaid
and sister of the bride, wore
a floor-length dress of brocaded
satin bodice and aqua chiffon skirt
with a matching headdress. She
carried a bouquet of yellow gladioli.
Private First Class Donald W.
Waldron, brother of the bridegroom,
served as best men. Acting as ushers
were Technical Sergeant Henry J.
Knize, brother of the bride, and
Technician Fifth Class Lloyd Wolfgang.

cousin of the bridegroom, san "I
Love Your Truly" and "Because."
accompanied by Mrs. Franklin J.
Schweitzer, organist.
A reception was held at the home
of the bride. Guests were received
by the bride's mother attired in a
fall green crepe dress with black
accessories and a corsage of yellow
roses and pom poms. She was as-
sisted by the bridegroom's mother.
In a black crepe dress with black
accessories and a corsage of red
roses and white pom poms. The
room was decorated with gladioli
and wedding bells. The three-tier
wedding cake was topped with a
miniature soldier bridegroom and
bride.
The bride chose a navy blue suit
with lime green accessories for her
traveling costume. The bridegroom
will return to Fort Dix, for further
assignment and the bride will reside
with her parents.
The out-of-town guests included
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Adams, of
Ransomville, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Serado, of Lansford, Pa; Mrs.
Thomas Williams, of Tamaqua, Pa;
and Miss Audrey Wunderlick, of
Hazleton, Pa.
