  Richard Thomas passed away on September 18, 2016 in Elk Grove, CA. Born April 22, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Arthur E. and Lillian (Pratt) Thomas. Richard grew up and attended schools in Niagara Falls after which he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon his return, he married Joan Wroblewski on August 4, 1956 and in 1959 they moved to Northern California where Richard began a career in the electronics industry and they raised their family. Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan (Wroblewski) Thomas; four children; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara (Thomas) Hollinsworth of Bellingham, WA; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by brothers, Arthur and John Thomas, and sister Julie (Thomas) Reitmulder.
