Melven C. Miller, of Upper
Saddle River, N.J., formerly of
Medina, died Oct. 2 at Valley
Hospital, Ridgewood, N.J.
Mr. Miller was born in
Greece, N.Y. Sept. 1, 1896, the
son of Walter and Emma
Treicker Miller.
He was married Nov. 10, 1920
in Akron, N.Y. to the former
Marie Wruck, who survives
him.
He was the founder and
president of M. C. Miller Co. of
Upper Saddle River, N.J.,
manufacturer of electrical
corrosion protection instruments,
and was a member
of the National Association of
Corrosion Engineers.
He was a veteran of World
War I.
He was the father of Wesley
Miller of Rangeley, Maine, and
grandfather of Melven C.
Miller II and Wesley A. Miller
Jr.
He was the brother of Mrs.
Adella Baker and *Mrs.
Winifred Gage, both of
Rochester and Mrs. Harold
(Luella) Mitchell of Florida.
Graveside services will be
held Saturday at 3 p.m. at
Royalton Mountain Ridge
Cemetery, Gasport, with the
Rev. Raymond Ideus of
Gasport Zion Lutheran Church
officiating.
Memorials may be made to
the American Cancer Society.
Funeral arrangements were
made through the Sherrie-
Bream Funeral Home,
Gasport.
