APPLETON. Sept. 4.-Mr. and Mrs.
D. R, Fitts, of Barker, announce the
engagement of their daughter. Thelma
A., to Lynford Wyman. of this place.
The marriage will take place soon.

BARKER. Sept. 10.-The marriage
of Miss Thelma Fitts, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Fitts, of Somer-
set, to Lynford Wyman, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Wyman, of Apple-
ton, was solemnized at 1:30 o'clock
sunday, September 5, at the Meth-
odist Episcopal parsonage at Lack-
awanna with the Rev. Clifford ??
performing the ceremony.
The attendants were Miss ??
Fitts, sister of the bride, and Ros-
coe Elinor, of Appleton. The bride
wore blue with white accessories
the bridesmaid wore wine color. Both
had shoulder corsages of talisman
roses.
Following the ceremony, dinner was
served the bridal party by Mrs. Clif-
ford Frost. Mr. and Mrs Wyman
left on a two-weeks' motor trip.
Upon their return they will make
their home in Buffalo.
Pre-nuptlal events were showers
given by Mrs. Nathaniel Hesse;.
Kenmore, and Mrs. P. j . Waas,
Somerset.
