Alarmed when he failed to report
for work yesterday, friends of
Robert C. Wynn, 84, who resided
alone at 157 Third street, went to
his apartment last night and found
him dead in bed. Dr. Edward K.
Gillick, city health officer, said that
the man had died of a heart attack,
apparently Monday night.
Born in Pennsylvania, Mr. Wynn
had resided here 36 years and was
employed by the city's electrical in.
spection department. He is surrived
by two sons and a daughter,
Leonard and Lloyd I. Wynn and
Mrs. James Fountain, all of this
city; a brother, Charles Wynn, of
Sunbury. Pa, and three sisters,
Mrs. Delbert Johns, of this city,
Mrs. Fred Rimert, of Northumberland,
Pa, and Mrs. Ivan Huff, of
Milton, Pa.
Services will be held at the Bell
funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Friday,
with the Rev. William F. Saye officiating.
Interment will be made in
Riverdale cemetery.
