 The marriage of Miss Joyce
 Yngve, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
 Henry L. Yngve, of Cleveland avenue,
 to John L. Barrows took place
 Friday evening. May 27, at St.
 James M. E. church, with the Rev.
 J. Ford Leffler officiating. The informal
 service was performed before
 an altar made lovely with blue iris
 and splrea. The bride, who was
 given In marriage by her father,
 wore.a street-length gown of pale
 blue crepe with white accessories
 and a corsage of white roses and
 forget-me-nots. Her sister, Miss
 Winona Yngve, was a charming
 bridesmaid In London tan and white
 with a corsage of coreopsis.
 The familiar wedding songs, "I
 Love You Truly," and "O Perfect
 Love," were sung by Robert Mitchell,
 while Mrs. Eleanor Schweitzer
 presided at the organ.
 The groom was attended by Robert
 Mosher. of Shortsville. N. Y.
 Flen Bliss and Edward Nutting, also
 of Shortsville. served as ushers.
 The bride's mother wore a gown
 of dusty pink lace with a corsage of
 sweet peas and roses, while the
 groom's mother, Mrs. J. E. Barrows,
 wore black marquisette over a flow-
 ered slip, with a similar corsage.
 The ceremony was followed by a
 reception at the home of the bride's
 parents.
 Mr. and Mrs. Barrows left for a
 short motor trip through southern
 New York state and will be at home
 after tomorrow at 1624 Willow ave-
 nue.
