William T. Young, 68, of the
Imperial Hotel, died Tuesday
evening (Aug 4, 1964) in Memorial
Hospital where he had
been taken after suffering a
heart attack earlier in the day,
He -was b o r n in Vaughn,
Ont., and was a farmer in Wilson
until 1934, when he moved
to Niagara Falls. During
World War II he was employed
at Carborundum as a
kiln operator. He later worked
for the Niagara F r o n t i er
Transit Co. as a maintenance
man. He retired in 1957.
Mr. YoUng is survived by
five daughters, Mrs. Joseph
D'Anna, Mrs. Paul Metzler,
Mrs. Joseph Quarcind, Mrs.
Nicholas D'Agostino, all of
this city; and Mrs..Frank De-
Line, Regina, Sask.; three
sons, William M., Robert F.
and James H. Young, of this
city; two brothers, Andrew J.
and Lloyd Young, this city;
four sisters, Mrs. Ella DeHay,
Mrs. Myrtle Nelson, both of
Ransomville; Mrs. Beatrice
Yarwood, Niagara Falls, Ont.,
and Mrs. Jessie Bale, Washington,
D.C.
Twelve grandchildren also
survive.
"Funeral service will be held
Saturday at the Gridley Funeral
Home at 10:30 a.m. Rev.
Edward H. Breitback, assistant
pastor of Lewiston Presbyterian
Church, will officiate,
Burial will be in Oakwood
Cemetery. Friends may call
from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today
and Friday.
