YOUNGSTOWN - Francis L.
Steele, 58, of 3731 Creek Road,
an operator of the Shady Ridge
Mobile Home Park, Balmer
Road, died Thursday (Jan. 2,
1969) at Mount St. Mary's
Hospital after' a long illness.
Mr. Steele was born Sept. 19,
1910 in Brockway Pa. He was
a Field Superintendent for the
John L. Klug Corp. in Rochester
for five years and was in the
construction field for 40 years.
He lived in this community for
20 years, previously in Niagara
Falls.
He was a member of Iron
Workers Local No. 9 6f Niagara
Falls Youngstown Lions Club,
Irem Temple Shrine of Wilkes-
Barre, ,Pa., LaSalle Lodge No.
1047 F and AM. °
He was a 32nd degree Mason
in the Scottish Rite at Trenton,
N.J. and a former member of
the Town of Porter Planning
and Zoning Boards.
He is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Audrey Young Steele, two
daughters, Mrs. Wilfred (Fran-
ces) Young of Niagara Falls and
Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) Collins of
Brockway, Pa.; two sons, Herman
and Patrick Steele, both of
Youngstown; two sisters, Mrs.
Eldora Miller of Brockway, Pa.
and Mrs. Elsie Beters of Great
Neck; three brothers, Edward
Steele of Anaheim, Calif. Stan-
ley Steele of Dearborn, Mich.
and Cecil Steele of Brokway.
Pa. and 17 grandchildren.
The LaSalle Lodge will conduct
services at the funeral
home Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held
Monday at the Hardison Funeral
Home, Lewiston at a time
to be announced. The Rev.
Charles S|ratton. pastor of the
Youngstown First United Presbyterian
Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Niagara
Falls Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
today and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9
p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
