  Niagara Falls Gazette Feb 2, 1954 Orville Carney dies at 86 TONAWANDA, Feb. 2 - Orville L. Carney, 86, of 220 E. Niagara St., died today at his home after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of this city and managed his father's farm on Tonawanda Creek Rd., for many years, retiring 25 years ago. Survivors include, four sisters, Mrs. Emma Peard, Kenmore; Mrs. John Miller, Mrs. Sarah Rose and Mrs. Edward Fries, all of this city. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hemp Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Titus will officiate. Burial will be in Sweeney Cemetery.
