Engagement Announced
RANSOMVILLE, April 8 -
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schrader,
Ave., Ransomville, announce
the engagement of their
daughter, Barbara Marie, to Norman
E. Zahno, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Franklin Zahno, Youngstown-
Lockport Rd., Ransomville. The
wedding will take place on July 3.

RANSOMVILLE. July 13-Miss
Barbara Schrader, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Schrader, and
Norman Zahno, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Franklin Zahno, were united
in marriage in a double ring ceremony
at St. Peter's Lutheran
Church, Ridge Rd. The Rev. Carl
W. Oldach, pastor, officiated.
William Etsheid was the organist
and Delbert Schultz sang. "Because,"
"0, Perfect Love," and
"The Lord's Prayer."
The bride entered on the arm of
her father. She was gowned in fulllength
white nylon net over taffeta
with a chantilly'lace jacket. The
veil was of fingertip nylon net with
chantilly lace and a headpiece of
seed pearls and rhinestones. She
carried a white Bible with a white
orchid and satin streamers.
Mrs. Harold Denny, matron-ofhonor,
was gowned in blue net
over taffeta with net stole and carried
a colonial bouquet of pink
roses centered with a large shasta
daisy.
The bridesmaid, Mrs. Donald
Pollow, sister of the bridegroom,
wore a pink gown similar to that
of the matron-of-honor and carried
a matching colonial bouquet
of roses and flower headpiece. Jo-
Ann Myers was gowned in yellow
with matching colonial bouquet and
flowered headpiece. Janet Speidel,
cousin of the bride, wore a lilac
gown with matching colonial bou .
quet and flowered headpiece, Carol
Gill, cousin of the bride, was in .
lime green with matching colonial
bouquet and flowered head piece.
John Burmaster was the best
rrfan. The ushers were Don Pollow,
brother-in-law of the groom,
Edward Schroder Jr., brother of the
bride, Jack Schultz and Thomas
Llsman.
°The bride's mother's dress was
blue rayon brocade and corsage of
Tailsman and yellow roses. The
bridegroom's mother wore pink
nylon with white brocade and corsage
white roses and blue forgetme-
nots.
A reception was held at the home
Of the bride's parents.
Out-of-town guests were from
Dunkirk, Cassadaga, Niagara Falls,
Lakeview, Buffalo and North Tona-
wanda, Youngstown-and.Lewiston.
Pre-nuptial events wer showers
given by Mrs. Harold Denny, Mrs.
Don Pollow, Mrs. Wallace Schultz
and Miss Joan Chylak.
' The bride and groom are both
graduates of Wilson Central School.
Upon their return from a trip
through the New England States..
they will reside in Harris Ave..
Ransomville.
