- Annette D. (Quigliano) McCormick, 98, a long time resident of Niagara Falls and Ransomville, NY, and most recently, Mount View Assisted Living and Northgate Manor passed away on December 2, 2019 at Northgate Manor.
Annette was born in Niagara Falls on April 21, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Annette (Runfalo) Quigliano. Annette attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On July 15, 1944, she married Milford W. McCormick at the former Sacred Heart Church. Mr. McCormick predeceased her in September of 1996. Annette was employed by Bell Aircraft, Kimberly Clark and Harrison Radiator (Delphi). She was a member of Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church in Sanborn, NY. Annette’s family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to Mount View Assisted Living, Northgate Manor, and Sonya Makowski for their compassionate care.
Annette is survived by one son, Ralph W. (Jeanne) McCormick of Ransomville, NY and one daughter, Shirley A. (Frederick) Teeter of Sarasota , FL.; four grandchildren, Kevin J. Hyla (Janet Pothier) of Ransomville, NY, Meghan A. (Eric) Wassner of Helotes, TX, Marley J. McCormick of Charlotte, NC, and Anthony (Jen) Vescio of Kenmore, NY; three great-grandchildren, McKenzie Wassner, Jack Vescio and Delaney Vescio. She is also survived by her sisters, Caroline (late Richard) Gibbons and Delores (Guido) Mistriner both of Niagara Falls, NY, and Alice (Dominic) Elia of Peoria, AZ, as well as many nieces and nephews. Annette was predeceased by four sisters, Ann late Leo) Cicero, Josephine (late Edward) Zahno, Lena (late Claude) Morningstar, and Mary (late William) Kubas: three brothers, Frank (late Angie) Quigliano, Salvatore (late Jean) Quigliano and Lawrence (late Shirley) Quigliano.
Visitation will be Friday, December 6th from 10 – 1 P.M. at the M.J COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
