Mrs. Henry Zappendort, 51, of
1334 Belling street, North Tonawanda,
died in DeGraff Memorial
Hospital this morning. Death was
due to natural causes. Mrs. Zap-
pendorf was admitted to the hos-
pital lasts Thursday.

NORTH TONAWANDA, April 25
-Mrs. Gertrude Zappendorf. nee
Behnke, 51, of 1334 Belling place,
died yesterday in the DeGraff
Memorial hospital. A lifelong resi-
dent of North Tonawanda, Mrs.
Zappendorf was a member of the
St. Paul's Lutheran church, in the
Niagara Falls boulevard, and the
Ladies Aid society of the church.
She leaves her husband. Henry:
two daughters, Mrs. Ellsworth
Heppler and Miss Myra Zappendorf,
of North Tonawanda: a son,
Private First Class Elton Zappendorf.
of the U.S. Army, stationed In
India; a sister, Mrs. Francis Dex-
heimer, a brother, Alvin Behnke,
both of North Tonawanda.
Funeral services will be held
Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
the residence and at 2:30 o'clock
at the St. Paul's church, the Rev.
F. A. Hinners officiating. Inter-
ment will be in the St. Paul's cem-
etery.
