  The Evening New of the Tonawanda's, August 8, 1932 CHARLES E. ACHTERBERG, 23 years old, died this morning at his home 134 Thompson street, after a lingering illness. Born at Niagara Falls, he had resided in North Tonawanda for the past five years. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Margaret Fingenbaum, a brother William, and a sister Irene, all of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at the Ascension church, Rev. E.A. Kleis will conduct the services and burial will be in Mt. Olivet.
