Hewitt, 95, of Pierce Avenue, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 in ElderWood at Crestwood Nursing Home, Wheatfield, NY. Born on June 6, 1911 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY she was the daughter of the late Peter and Else (Bjerrgaard) Nielsen. Mrs. Hewitt was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY and attended local schools. Marie will best be most remembered as the owner and operator of the Anne Aquaint Shop. Mrs. Hewitt is survived by one daughter Kirstin H. (Gerald) Stack of Pequannock, NJ, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren all of New Jersey. Marie was predeceased by one sister Karen E. Smith. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY.
