  Niagara Gazette - 9/8/1932 Jacob Zeiger, 74 years old, highly respected lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, died at 7:15 o'clock last evening at his home, 1528 Ontario avenue, following a short .Illness. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer officiating. " Burial will be In Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Zeiger,. who was bom in Niagara Falls and lived here all his life, was a carpenter by trade. He was employed by the Haeberle Lumber company for - 47 years, retiring two years .ago. He was a member of the Niagara Falls Exempt Firemen's association and the Niagara Falls local of the carpenters' union. He is survived by one daughter, Frances E. Zeiger, and a sister, Anna M Zeiger.
